The camp is available for children from grades seven through 12.
The camp seeks to teach the basics and fundamentals of football in a fun filled, friendly environment. The camp will focus on improving player skills such as quickness, agility and strength. Participants will also learn about proper football techniques, as well as the value of teamwork, sportsmanship, dedication and hustle.
This is non contact instructional camp.
The camp focuses on speed development, acceleration, deceleration, biometrics and explosive power development, among other things the certified instructors will go over. The entire program costs $100 per camper. Campers ages 8 through 23 are welcome to join.

ATTENTION JUNIOR GOLFERS
The Winchendon School Golf Club announces the kickoff of its “Winch Junior Tour” this summer. The Tour is open to all junior golfers, ages 10 through 17. SUMMER GOLF CAMP
Looking for a great sports day camp this summer? The Winchendon School Golf Club is holding two camps for kids ages 8 and up who would like to learn more about the game of golf or improve their skills. Kids who have never played, as well as those more experienced, are welcome. The fee for each three day camp is $125 per person, and lunch is included each day.

WARNING TRACK SUMMER SOFTBALL CLINIC
The Warning Track, an indoor baseball and softball facility located at 12 Baltic Lane, Fitchburg, will offer a softball clinic running July 22, 23 and 24, for players of ages 9 to 16. The cost of the clinic will be $20 per person, or $50 for all three days.
Clinic instructors include Mike Pelland, former head coach at Oakmont Regional, St. Bernard’s and Franklin Pierce College, as well as Dave Reid, head softball coach and athletic director at Monty Tech.
MONTY TECH COACHING POSITIONS
Monty Tech is looking to fill the following coaching positions for the 2009 10 school year: football (two varsity or junior varsity positions with linebacker, quarterback or wide receiver experience preferred); freshman football head coach with previous coaching experience and organizational skills; varsity field hockey; junior varsity girls’ volleyball; varsity boys’ basketball; varsity girls’ basketball; and assistant wrestling coach.
