Former WWE champion Jinder Mahal had some strong words for Triple H
Former WWE champion Jinder Mahal had some strong words for Triple H (Paul Michael Levesque) ahead of the clash at the World Wrestling Entertainment’s ‘Supershow’ in Delhi. The biggest match in Indian history Triple H versus Jinder Mahal. Triple H, we have seen more of you in the past few months than we have in the past few years and still you remain that same unstoppable force. But in India, in my land and in front of my people, I become unstoppable.
They are set to go head to head against each other at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on December 9 in New Delhi. The match was set after WWE’s change in plans. The company decided to go ahead with one major show instead of two on December 8 and 9. Mahal dropped the championship to AJ Styles ahead of Survivor Series and the original plan to defend his championship against Kevin Owens on December 8 was changed.
Triple H soon challenged Jinder for a match through a video he posted on Twitter, calling out the ‘Moden Day Maharaja’ for a ‘dream match’ in India.
“I decided India that if you want it bad enough, I will reply you. Let me hear your voice and if it is loud enough then I’ll return to New Delhi on December 9 and I will step into that ring to compete. But,
it won’t be against just anybody. It will be for the biggest match in India’s history. It will be Modern Day Maharaja Jinder Mahal, the former WWE champion against the King of Kings, The Game, The Cerebral Assassin,” Triple H said.
“I’m honoured that you considered me as an opponent in India, in New Delhi. So Delhi walo? Dasso yeh match dekhna chahte hoh aap? Humara Jinder Mahal vs Triple H. Dasso? (So Delhi people,
do you want to see Jinder Mahal vs Triple H? Tell),” said Jinder in his video reply to HHH’s tweet. However, he is having a resurgence in the ring this year.
He first teamed up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in the absence of Roman Reigns for five events from November 1 5 during WWE’s tour of the United Kingdom. Following that, he decided to be the fifth member of RAW’s Survivor Series team and delivered a ‘Pedigree’ to Kurt Angle and helped Shane McMahon pin and eliminate the RAW captain. After that, he delivered another ‘Pedigree’ to Shane and pinned him to win the match for RAW. But he was attacked by Braun Strowman and planted on the middle of the ring.
Jinder, who was left out of the Survivor Series,
appeared in this week’s SmackDown Live and challenged Styles for the championship at Clash of Champions.
